
(Burnham Cliffs) - 2005
The London Clay (Ypresian, Eocene) at Burnham is well exposed, the beds dip Westwards, there is a large amount of the sequence exposed at Burnham, so there is a lot of various fossils to be found.

(Upper chalk with shell fragment) - 2005
At the Western end of Cliff Reach, Upper chalk is sometimes exposed on the foreshore in boulders, these boulders can contain shells which indicate that this is of the Maastrichtian age. This is below the London Clay.
